Moomin Christmas tree

'So they immediately carried the Christmas tree out in front of the house and planted it firmly in the snow. Then they set about decorating it from top to bottom with every pretty thing they had. They decorated it with seashells that adorned the flower beds in summer and with Miss Snork's pearl necklace. They took the crystal pendants from the chandelier in the living room and hung them on the branches, and at the very top they placed a silk rose that Moominmamma had given her from her papa.'
