Cancan

The cancan, also known as the cancan, is a French dance from the second half of the 19th century, of uncertain origin. One hypothesis suggests it developed from the quadrille; another suggests it was initially a caricature of African dances. It is also believed that it was brought to France by soldiers returning from Algeria. This work was created in Photoshop.
